Here are a few ideas other customers have shared with us.

SUN CATCHERS
With remnant pieces of lamination from other projects, cut out seasonal shapes (ex. Shamrock for St. Patrick´s Day, Hearts for Valentine´s Day).  Paint these shapes with glass paint or window markers.  Once dry, punch a small hole with single hole punch and string with your favorite color yarn or ribbon.

DECORATIVE CHAIN
A great way to recycle those strips of lamination!  When cutting around projects, take the remaining strips and cut into same length pieces.  Loop ends together to make a circle and tape the ends together with clear packing tape.  Take next strip and loop through first loop and tape ends.  Continue until you have a chain.  Strong enough for children to play with or use over and over again for decorating!

DOOR CURTAINS
Decorate your doors with colorful "curtains".
Header:  Measure the width of your door. Cut a piece of art paper (your choice of color) the width of the door by approximately 6 inches.  Laminate this piece, trim off excess lamination.  Set aside.  (Variation: Colored posterboard can be used as well.)

Curtain Streamers:
Take a roll of art paper (your choice of color) and cut to the height of the door. If the paper rolls are wider than your laminator, cut the width of the paper in half before laminating. Run through your laminator. Slit the paper in approximately 2" strips and tape to header with clear tape. Repeat process until full length of header is covered. Hang curtain over door frame, header side out, and let the fun begin.  (Variation:  For multi-color streamers, laminate several differenct color papers and alternate the color strips as you tape to the header.)

NONSKID ACTIVITY MATS (PLACEMATS & MOUSEPADS)
Create nonskid activity mats for desks or wheelchair trays. The mat is waterproof and reusable.  Simply create your special design on your choice of colored paper.  Place in a Mousepad or placemat pouch. Place inside your pouch film carrier and run through your pouch machines.

Shape Recognition:  Draw a square, rectangle, octagon, circle, oval, triangle and/or wavy line.  Children can now practice shape recognition: (a) trace the outline of the shape or (b) fill in the shape with salt or sand.

Game Boards:  Use to create a reusable game board such as tic-tac-toe or multiplication bingo.

Workspace Mats:  Have the children decorate their special spot, draw each shape of a place setting, or simply turn your students artwork into a placemat or mousepad to take home.  The activities are endless.
